Best quote I've come across in a while.
"Science knows it doesn't know everything. Otherwise, it would stop."
This video provides a humourous look at science in the media; something I've been reading about a lot lately. The more I read, the less inclined I am to take any health related news item seriously. Anyone remember antioxidants and how good they are for you? Well, it turns out that taking antioxidant supplements doesn't do anything good and certain antioxidants might even be harmful. The media took preliminary and weakly supported data and turned them into a grand breakthrough. When more complete studies were done that contradicted the initial findings, the media ignored them. So much for giving the public a clear picture of the facts.
Enough ranting. On to the video.
