Don made an interesting observation this morning, with power outages happening all over the region, that it's almost exactly 12 years ago that the big ice storm happened in the region.
Yesterday we had Mav, Susan, and the horde over with their half-finished turkey dinner (my third in as many days!) when the lights went out at their place. Steph is making cinnamon rolls for breakfast -- I'm going to be so sad when our house goes back to it's non-holiday aroma.
The trees outside are beautiful, and so far, we've been lucky. If the site goes down for any length of time, well, you'll know what happened.
