In the spirit of TedXOttawa this weekend here is an interesting talk i found awhile ago.

Josh @ December 2, 2009 10:03 AM -- A lot of this talk really resonates with me, not so much from a musical standpoint, but from a martial one. The connection between hand and drumstick and the connection between hand and sword have a lot of the same character. The same can be said of the relationship between a strict technician -- one who can execute a form with exactly the same every time, and an adaptable martial artist, who can instantly adjust any of the techniques they know for any attacker, partner, or circumstance.
